The 2025-26 JUCO Top 40
While I've spent nearly two years evaluating JUCO prospects, here's my Top 40 of prospects that every Division I coach should have on their watchlist:
Introduction
First and foremost, salute to the hard-working folks at JUCO Recruiting who have their annual tradition of publishing their Top 100. I’m following their example and rank the guys I’ve evaluated. However, I don’t feel comfortable enough to rank 100 players fairly. That’s why I’m choosing for a Top 40 instead, while focusing on players whom I’ve seen footage from.
For college coaches, it will include links to contact them immediately. The table below also links to in-depth scouting reports for most of these prospects.
My goal is to give all less-coveted players a fair chance to get discovered. It’s easy to talk about the guys about whom everything has already been said. However, real scouting is about targeting the players no one else talks about. That’s the emphasis of my line of work.
There’s a huge group of guys that can play Division I basketball, but simply lack the exposure.
